The History Of PAM

Partners in Asian Missions (PAM) began in 1972 as a Christian ministry in the leper colonies of Thailand. Following the civil wars and the Pol Pot killing fields of Cambodia, the primary focus of the work shifted to India and Nepal, and now is moving to encompass other Asian countries in the 10/40 window.

PAM has always been and continues to be a compassionate care ministry in partnership with indigenous evangelists, pastors, and church planters, exchanging the traditional missionary role for that of a facilitator and supporter in order to more effectively reach a lost world for Christ.

Literally billions of spiritually impoverished and thirsty souls live in Asia, searching for the water of life in the midst of a dry and thirsty land. Psalm 63 tells of the only water that can ever satisfy their souls: the Living God, Creator, Redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ. At the well of Samaria in John 4, Jesus said, "Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again; but whosoever drinks of the water that I give him shall never thirst, but the water that I give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

Partners In Asian Missions has seen dramatic life changes in thousands of Asian believers partaking of the Living Water through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
